Video written, filmed, and edited by The Able Teens: Yared Assefa, Asher Brown, Andreas Rodriguez, and Toby Tang. Video shot on location in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
Beacon Hill Street Stories is a project designed to merge storytelling, technology, and neighborhood culture to creatively engage youth in understanding how a place for all people to walk contributes to the health, safety and vibrancy of a community.
From April -- May 2013, ten Beacon Hill youth engaged in workshops about walkability, Landscape Architecture, how to read and create maps, storytelling, interviewing, and filming and editing techniques to prepare for creating their own short videos about walking in their neighborhood.
Videos were created using iPod Touch devices. Learn more about Street Stories at [ Ссылка ].
