In this video I show how I clean game birds to include how I easily locate and remove lead shot. These techniques apply to many game birds including grouse, pheasant, chukar, partridges, and even waterfowl. Cleaning wild birds is not very difficult and takes only a couple of simple tools to do it correctly. Game birds with the lead shot removed are much more pleasant to eat. By the time you clean 3 or 4 birds this way, you'll never have a problem properly preparing wild birds again.
