Everyone will have a question that how to take care of the wound after the Cesarean? After the Cesarean you have to be very careful about your wound healing. How it happens? So you must first avoid lifting any heavy weights or sudden bending, sudden movements, all the jerky moments should be avoided and you must also concentrate on your diet. Food rich in protein and green leafy vegetables, egg or legumes. All these help in healing process of this cesarean wound and cesarean wound, it is not just that cut over the skin. It is cut over all the layers including the uterus. So the healing process take time. Atleast six weeks it takes for the Cesarean wound to heal completely. So you have to avoid the jerky movements or lifting anything heavy during that period. Along with this rest. Rest is really very important you have to give proper rest for yourself. If the rest is not given if you take too much of stress, the wound healing process delays down. Along with that you should also take support of your family while feeding the baby, taking the baby and keeping the baby back into the cradle, all these things, you have to take a support of your family and along with this you should also use the abdominal belt. Abdominal belt there is a myth that the after cesarean section your tummy will come. No it is not that exactly and also if you use abdominal belt, the tummy will go no abdominal belt. We advise mainly to give proper support for your loose hanging tummy post cesarean. If the proper support is given the loose hanging tummy will not fall on your cesarean side and the healing process would be faster and also you will get proper back support and you will not have a back pain after that. If you don't give proper back support along with this the post cesarean back positioning is really very important. The baby feeding position when you feed the baby you should see to that you'll have proper back support or there's too much of bending too much of sudden jerky moments will cause little delay in the healing process. So you must concentrate on your healing. Along with all these things after going home you have to see to that your cesarean wound is kept clean every day. You have to take bath, wash with a plain water and soap and keep the area dry. Any signs of infection like redness over the area or hardness over the area or any small pus, anything coming from the site, you have to immediately go back to your doctor and meet the gynecologist.
