Sir Alex Ferguson has announced he will retire as manager of Manchester United at the end of the season, after 26 years in charge. Former football players Bryan Robson and John Barnes have said that Sir Alex Ferguson will be a hard act to follow.
Sir Alex is standing down as manager of Manchester United at the end of the season, bringing to an end the career of one of world football's greatest figures.
