After his arrest we see three reactions to truth surrounding Jesus. Peter lied and said he wasn’t a disciple. The Pharisees chose to ignore everything Jesus had said and done to protect their positions. Pilate didn’t ask what truth was because as far as he was concerned it was whatever was paid for or won in battle.
