Hello! I’ve invited the Executive Director of Tourism Institute, an expert in tourism Mamuka Berdzenishvili to talk about sustainable tourism development perspectives for the Department of Tourismregion.
Mamuka has more than 12-year experience of working in tourism industry, both in private (airline company Lufthansa, marketing company “Shindi”) and government (Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R.) sectors. In addition he is actively engaged in consulting-analytical (World Bank, European Commission) and educational/teaching (Caucasus Business School, Batumi State University) activities.
Currently he leads the Tourism Institute, non-profit research oriented center, established by him.
