We repair a shrinking and curling pickguard on a 70's Martin Dreadnought.
Pickguards made of celluloid have a tendency to shrink as they age, which can cause the guard to curl and lift from the top of the guitar.
We removed the pickguard and cleaned the top. There was no finish underneath the pickguard, so it was necessary to sand the material flush.
