A Po-boy is a traditional sandwich from Louisiana and it consists of any type of meat such as Beef, pork, chicken, and Louisiana hot sausage or any type of fried seafood such as Shrimp, Catfish, Crawfish, Soft Shell crabs, and oysters. It is typically served on a baguette style New Orleans French bread. This Po boy can be served hot or cold and it is dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Optional Onions, Mustard (Non seafood Po boys), Hot sauce, and some Po boys require gravy to be added on to them. This sandwich if often served with French fries. Po boys are very popular in New Orleans. There are a lot of restaurants that serve Po boys and even places called Po boy shops when they specialize in making the traditional sandwich.
