iOS 17.0.3 has solved my phone overheating issue hopefully everyones iPhone should be working by now and make sure you update all your apps I personally, don't update my apps I do them manually. Let me know in the comments how your phone is running and how it performing using different apps and if when you don't use or close your apps you should notice it cool down pretty fast and battery life should improve.
