A new presentation on the Shroud of Turin, phenomenally conducted by Father Andrew Dalton at the Saint Thomas More Newman Center in Columbia, Misuri (USA).
BIOPIC: Fr Andrew Dalton, Legionary of Christ
Fr. Andrew Dalton, LC, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, is a Catholic priest of the Legionaries of Christ and Assistant Professor of Theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy where he teaches Biblical Theology of the Passion of Christ. In addition to his Philosophy and Theology degrees, he obtained his Postgraduate Certificate in Shroud Studies, in collaboration with the International Center of Sindonology (Shroud studies) in Turin, Italy. He has lectured all over the world on the Shroud of Turin and the physical sufferings of Jesus, including China, Singapore, and the Philippines.
Fr Andrew Dalton, native of Atlanta, Georgia, is a Catholic priest of the Legionaries of Christ and professor of theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He teaches the Synoptic Gospels and Biblical Greek and Hebrew. He is the author of Fulfilled Israel: Matthew’s Plerosis Paradigm (WUNT II).
Fr Dalton obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Shroud Studies in 2011 and became a board member of Othonia, an international center of investigation on the Shroud, in 2017. In 2018, he worked with Shroud experts worldwide to bring university-level studies to the English-speaking world.
He teaches the Biblical Theology of the Passion of the Christ for the Science and Faith Institute, which works in collaboration with the International Centre of Shroud Studies in Turin and the Giulio Ricci Diocesan Centre of Shroud Studies in Rome. He has lectured on the Shroud of Turin and the sufferings of Christ worldwide, including in China, Singapore, and the Philippines, and has appeared on television in America and Italy.
