Gameplay of the Japan-only game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic for the Famicom Disk System, which would later be released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in America as Super Mario Bros. 2 in America and Europe with differences including changed playable characters in order to make it more Mario-like. Nintendo had originally released a game called Super Mario Bros. 2 (which had similar graphics and gameplay to Super Mario Bros. 1, but with more challenges like Poison Mushrooms, backwards warp pipes, and harder obstacles) in Japan, but Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe didn't release it because they thought it would be to hard. Eventually, Japan got the western Super Mario Bros. 2, but it had to be renamed Super Mario USA because Japan already had a Super Mario Bros. 2. Japan's original Super Mario Bros. 2 was eventually released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in Super Mario All-stars, along with the other Super Mario Bros. 2, plus 1 and 3. Because America and Europe already had a Super Mario Bros. 2, it had to be renamed to Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.
I originally uploaded the content of this video in two separate videos, but I had intended for it to be just one video, so I merged them together with YouTube Video Editor. The first video went from the beginning to right after the first egg is thrown back at Birdo. The rest of that boss fight and the rest of the video overall was the second video.
