Sorry, again, for the loooong delay. A BIG THANK YOU to my 600+ subscribers!
As we are all aware, S7 is long over, and so, hopefully, I won't have to give a "spoiler alert" hehe. Don't let this little offering of mine confuse you, I'm still #TeamJonSa.
Take this as my (pathetic) attempt at formulating a story of a love triangle.
So, Jon has conflicted feelings for Sansa (watch it till the end and you'll get the hint of where Jon's heart lies *wink*). He goes away to Dragonstone for a possible military alliance
and meets Dany. He is attracted towards her but cannot make himself commit to her (look out for the hint in the lyrics). Why? Because feels something is amiss. A void, which has taken
place in his heart since he left Sansa in charge of WF. He may not have been very keen in retaking WF. Tbh, he never fully considered it to be his home. He tried making the Night's Watch
his home, only to pay for it with his life, no less! He came back to life, he was tired of fighting. He knew the threat that was coming to swallow humanity in whole from Westeros, but did
he care? He had witnessed first hand as to what caring for others landed him into, so he just wanted to be away from all of it. Maybe, sail to one of the free cities, spend his remaining days being
a sellsword or something? That was until an unexpected guest showed up on the gates of the NW. She gave him a new purpose to live in this new life of his'. While being away, it felt like everyone knew his conflicted feelings for her, because it seemed like everyone was taunting him by taking her name, as if asking for a reaction, and stupidly, he obliged every time.
She urged him to fight. Maybe she was being selfish in putting his life in danger, again, with this proposition- but it wasn't just her home she wanted back. She could've easily taken it back with Littlefinger's help and he was more than willing to help her retake WF (albeit, with his own selfish reasons). It was also Jon. She could've easily waltzed into the castle, throw away the Bolton banners and put up the Stark banners
in its rightful place- with or without Jon's help. But she chose not to. Asking LF for help was her last resort, not her first priority. She wanted Jon by her side. At least that one face from her past where she found her home after years of captivity- even in her own home. He was not physically present now, but that didn't stop her from missing him. Even reuniting with her own brother and sister couldn't bring her the joy, the warmth that
she felt when she ran into his arms, without thinking, without doubts.
Daenerys has seen the worst in men. Right from her brother, her first husband to all those she had come across while her stint as Queen in Mereen. But Jon was nothing like them. He was nothing like anyone. Despite being in disagreement with her at first, he treated her with utmost respect. And this respect didn't come out of fear, no, he was fearless. Brave, almost stupidly so. Not for once did he mock her authority as "Queen", not for once he mocked her sex. He came all the way from North just to help his people, despite the risk it meant, despite the horrible crimes committed by her own family against his family. He was respectful, but just enough authorotative to ensure that no one gets to dictate him. How many men could she think of who were like him in any respect? They were either bowing and scraping infront of her or being outright murderous. He was a good man, through and through.
And she knew that there's no way in the seven hells that she could restrict this to simply a military alliance.
