First Ladies of Disco is an American girl supergroup composed of Martha Wash the voice of C&C Music Factory, Black Box, and The Weather Girls. Linda Clifford (If My Friends Could See Me Now.) and Norma Jean Wright formerly of Chic (Dance Dance Dance.) They will be joined on stage at Arlington's Showplace of Entertainment by special guest performers Grammy nominee Anita Ward (Ring My Bell), and the legendary actress and comedian Marsha Warfield (Night Court, Empty Nest, and Netflix’s The Upshaws.) It will be a night of unforgettable music, fun, and laughter! You’ll get “Lost In Music” of this high-energy, flashback show and feel the groove of “It’s Raining Men” wash over you when First Ladies of Disco commemorate the cultural essence of disco, soul, pop, and dance music. MARTHA WASH, NORMA JEAN WRIGHT and LINDA CLIFFORD will be singing, dancing and performing their greatest hits while honoring all the iconic artists who played a vital role in shaping the disco-funk-soul-pop-dance genre during the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
In March 2015, the First Ladies of Disco released their debut single "Show Some Love" with a remix of the single peaking at number six on Billboard's Dance chart. In 2017, the group embarked on their first tour called "First Ladies of Disco Show" In March 2019, the group released their second single "Don't Stop Me Now".
