GENERAL COMMENT: The U1H and U3H were the longest-running models of Yamaha - a total of about 1,500,000 of them, made between 1970 and 1980, with very little change in design during that period. They have a consistently warm tone. The pianos we choose are those with little wear, so the touch has often become stiffer and the weight needs reducing.
