In his first decision as SP state unit chief, Shivpal Yadav expelled cousin Ram Gopal Yadav's nephew, SP MLC Arvind Yadav, on Sunday on charges of land-grabbing. Ram Gopal's camp in SP is said to have challenged the decision and threatened to take the matter to SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. Ram Gopal's son Akshay, an MP, said Arvind should have been penalised only after a thorough probe. "After all, it's an issue of my father's pride," he told mediapersons.
