This is the best documentary ever made about Elvis impersonators and the Elvis phenomenon. It was filmed in 1991 and climaxes at the Bad Bob's Vapors Elvis Contest in Memphis.
A very young Doug Church is interviewed here at the very beginning of his spectacular career and along the way, some of the more interesting characters and personalities that are featured are:

EL VEZ- the Mexican Elvis

JANICE K- the lady Elvis

DANNY U- and Elvis impersonator who built a replica of Graceland in California and called it "Melodyland"

JONI MABE- owner of the surgically removed "Elvis wart" and curator of the Travelling Panoramic Encyclopedia of Elvis Museum

CLARENCE GIDDENS- the Black Elvis

PAUL MACLEOD- Elvis collector extraordinaire and owner of the "Graceland Too" mansion

ED "DOC" FRANKLIN (RIP)- started the original and best Elvis Contest at his Bab Bob's Vapors nightclub and was also Elvis' veterinary surgeon

BUTCH PELSTON- the world's greatest replica Elvis jumpsuit maker and owner of B&K Enterprises

BRUNO HERNANDEZ- World's youngest Elvis impersonator

BOB MCVAY- RIP
