I was talking with Drew Schrag of www.drewswhips.com today and he said he'd like to see more two-handed whip cracking on YouTube, so I'm posting this video I shot back in October.
I shot this video while I was training for a whip cracking competition held in Glen Innes, NSW, Australia. I was trying to come up with a routine for my one-minute free-style using 6 ft nylon stock whips by Simon Martin.
This was shot in my front yard at night before leaving for the competition. Practicing at night is good for putting more focus on the feel, loudness, and crispness of a whip cracking routine. This way you're not distracted by watching what the whip is doing.
