Welcome to How to build a cheap drift car! Ep.6
In this series I am going to show you guys how to build a simple yet capable drift car with plenty of potential.

I took the old coilovers off from the blue e36 so I could replace the 30 year old stock shocks that were pretty much blown on the white e36. Wasn't the easiest job to do especially after a long day but it sure was rewarding.
This general way of installation applies to most of the cars with McPherson strut like e30, e46, e92, 180sx/240sx/silvia(s13 s14 s15) mustang, rx7, rx8, F22 M2, even new supra and so on....
But the rear of the car turned out to be too low for stock body, (the blue e36 has cut quarter panel and 50mm overfenders installed) so I had to roll the fenders in order to drive it on the street to avoid rubbing issues, before I can transfer the overfenders from the blue car to this one.
