It has been way too long since I've updated everyone on the Porsche 924 turbo project. Between working in South Carolina, living in Colorado, and flying back and forth each week I truly haven't had any time to work on the car. But I'm back in CO for a few days and wanted to get a little work done.
The car developed a lean surge at idle and although I had replaced nearly every vacuum hose/line it still acted like it had a leak. So the best way to test for vacuum leaks is with a smoke machine. I've never used one but picked up one on Amazon and it is AMAZING! No major leaks detected but it did reveal a couple of loose clamps.
Since the next logical thing was fuel related, I replaced the fuel filter and that was horrible. After the new filter was put in the lean surge disappeared and it's running better than ever.
As for major news...
I've accepted a full-time position in Greenville, SC so Auto Anatomy will be packing up and moving to Greenville this summer. This will put us much closer to a couple YouTubers that I've befriended over the last year.
Michael from@BudgetBuildz ([ Ссылка ]) lives about five minutes away from the hospital where I'll be working and @griffparker1466 ([ Ссылка ]) is a couple hours away. I'm looking forward to collaborating with those guys on some future builds and getting to know them better.
In the meantime, check out our merch shop at [ Ссылка ] and don't forget to subscribe to our channel.
Thank you so much, God Bless, and we'll see you soon!
