While every situation Is different, I encourage gap years because they allow you to better plan your law school applications. But you may also feel, like I did at the time when I applied to law school (during my senior year) that if you take a break you’ll never get to go to law school because it seems as if there’s always so,e crises in your home life that will cause a derailment. But the process doesn’t have to be this way for you and you can look at a gap year as part of your process that will make your application as strong as possible.
