Monitoring, trouble shooting and updating the SW stack fall into ‘day 2’ types of operations. Infrastructure management on IBM Spectrum Fusion 2.3 is easy with the OpenShift command line. OpenShift administrators can easily access all of Spectrum Fusion’s software and hardware information via the OpenShift CLI or Spectrum Fusion UI. IBM Spectrum Fusion HCI is very easy to update. This presentation also compares the update process of the HCI, versus SDS versus a bare-metal deployment of Fusion. Finally, it walks through the process for upgrading Spectrum Fusion HCI: Fusion Management SW, Fusion Services, Compute nodes and switches and OpenShift Container Platform.
