Convicted serial killer Robert Pickton is in critical condition after he was assaulted in Quebec's maximum-security Port Cartier Institution.
Pickton was convicted in 2007 of six second-degree murder charges. The remains or DNA of 33 women, many of whom were taken from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, were found on his farm in Port Coquitlam, B.C.
Neetu Garcha reports on the investigation into the assault, and how the families of Pickton's victims are reacting.
