Today I have another lettering project and video. I've been wanting to try lettering inside a shape for a while now. It definitely takes some practice! I hope to practice this type of lettering more very soon. :)

After sketching the design onto black cardstock using a mechanical pencil, I used a size 2 round brush and FineTec Pearl Watercolors for the lettering.

This was the first time I tried these particular FineTec watercolors (thank you, JetPens for the chance to try them out!). I've used the gold palette many times, but not these colors. I love how the pearl watercolors look on the black cardstock! They truly shimmer in the light! Be sure to watch to the end of the video to see it tipped in the light.
