Hurricane Beryl has intensified to a Category Five storm, with winds and storm surges that could prove catastrophic. The hurricane has already claimed at least two lives and continues to gain strength as it approaches Jamaica. Previously, Beryl charted a deadly path through Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where it flattened buildings and disrupted power and water supplies.
