Join me in my Hearts of Iron IV Let's Play as the Kingdom of Sweden. In this campaign we'll be empowering the king and returning his traditional powers that have slowly been eroded away. This is the non-aligned monarchy route on the new Swedish focus tree. With the king in control of the government, we'll rebuild the Swedish Baltic Empire by building a small elite army and a modern air force & navy. We'll make use of the new special forces doctrine tree for the marines to launch surprise attacks on our enemy's territory, sabotaging their buildings, and then quickly returning to the sea before they can retaliate. So basically Viking raider tactics.

Historical AI Focuses will be turned on, meaning the AI will pursue the historical route on their focus trees, thus we can expect Germany and the Soviet Union to be our primary enemies.

I discuss my reasoning and strategy as I play, thus this walkthrough could serve as a tutorial or guide.
