Brooks Koepka won the US Open for a second consecutive time after finishing one shot clear of an impressive Tommy Fleetwood at Shinnecock Hills. Koepka, who came into the eagerly-anticipated tournament as world No 9, shot two-under par during the final round to finish one-over for the tournament and fend off the likes of Fleetwood, Tony Finau, Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed. After clinching the championship, he was met by his girlfriend, Jena Sims, who congratulated her man by planting a kiss on his lips. The American began the day tied at the top with Finau, Johnson and Daniel Berger but it ended up being Englishman Tommy Fleetwood who would be his closest challenger.
