This video contains optional subtitles for the lyrics, and these can be activated and deactivated by simply clicking on the "CC" button beneath the video.
The source video I used to create this one is here: [ Ссылка ]
That was the best-quality upload of this music video I could find online, and it is the official upload by the official Paul McCartney channel. I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality one, and this involved slowing down the footage slightly, as it was running a bit fast compared to the HQ audio track I am using. The source video was slightly out-of-sync, with the picture running a bit late compared to the sound, so I have fixed that. I have also added my own optional subtitles for the lyrics. The source video did have optional subtitles for the lyrics, but they were not very well done.
This song was written by Paul McCartney. This track was produced by Paul McCartney, and was released in 1979 as a stand-alone (non-album) single. According to Wikipedia, this single reached No. 6 in his native UK, No. 7 in Germany, No. 8 in Hungary and Ireland, No. 10 in Austria, Latvia and the Netherlands, No. 13 in Sweden, No. 18 in Canada and in the Billboard Global 200 chart, No. 19 in Switzerland, No. 28 in Belgium and the USA, No. 29 in Lithuania, No. 30 in Denmark, No. 32 in Slovakia, No. 34 in Portugal, No. 38 in Australia, No. 41 in Poland, No. 43 in the Czech Republic, No. 67 in Europe, and No. 68 in Italy.

There are three places that I have been able to find an official presentation of the lyrics to this song, but none of them have one which is very accurate. One is in the liner notes of the Japanese release of the single, a picture of which can be seen here: [ Ссылка ]=
Unfortunately it is not very accurate, and even has the line "They practice dog-eared on", instead of "They practiced all year long"! Another place I found an official presentation was on Paul McCartney's official website, but I have found that for some bizarre reason this is a very inaccurate source for song lyrics. It gets the second word of the song wrong, claiming the first line to be "The moon is right", rather than "The mood is right"! The third place I found an official presentation was in the optional subtitles included in the official upload of this music video on YouTube, which I Iinked to above but here is that link again: [ Ссылка ]
That source is a bit more accurate than the others. Presented below and as optional subtitles in the video is my own transcript of the lyrics, for which I have used those official presentations and the transcripts found on lyrics websites as a guide.
I currently have two other videos featuring Paul McCartney, and they are these:
Paul McCartney : "Ever Present Past" (2007) • Official Music Video • HQ Audio • Lyrics Option

The Beatles : "Help!" - Live in Blackpool, 1965 • Official/Unofficial Music Video • HQ Audio

Lyrics:
"Wonderful Christmastime"
- Paul McCartney
(Words and Music by Paul McCartney)
The mood is right
The spirit's up
We're here tonight
And that's enough
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
The party's on
The feeling's here
That only comes
This time of year
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
The choir of children sing their song
Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, ding
Oooh
Oooh, ooh, oooh
Doo, doo, doo, doo
We're simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
The word is out
About the town
To lift a glass
Oh, and don't look down
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, dong dong
The party's on
The spirit's up
We're here tonight
And that's enough
Oh, simply having a wonderful Christmastime
We're simply having a wonderful Christmastime
[Break]
The mood is right
The spirit's up
We're here tonight
Oh, and that's enough
Oh, we're simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Simply having a wonderful Christmastime
Oh
Oh
(Wonderful)
Christmastime
