Japanese Pokemon Cards have exploded in popularity over the last 5 years - with Pokemon Card collectors buying collections of Special Arts and Ultra Rares wherever they can find them. But how does collecting online compare to buying Japanese Pokemon Cards from an actual Pokemon Card store?

I was lucky enough to travel to Akihabara, where I found some of the most incredible Pokemon Cards on display, all the way from Base Set, to Neo Genesis, through to the Diamond and Pearl, Black and White and even XY Era of Pokemon Cards! I even found the Japanese version of Mystery Packs - known as Oripa - inside a Pokemon Card vending machine!
