NHS staff, along with other public sector workers, have been living under seven years of real terms pay cut thanks to a Government imposed pay cap.
On the NHS' 69th birthday, we're calling on the Government to rekindle the spirit which saw staff get a ‘considerable improvement’ in their pay when the NHS was founded.

Our vital public sector workers have had thousands pinched with a decade of real terms pay cuts.
Since 2010, the average public sector worker has had nearly £9,000 pinched, and is set to lose a further £4,000 by 2020. That's £13,000 lost through a decade of pay cuts.
We won't stop until we secure the decent pay deals our members need. And we'll be taking our campaign for fair pay in the public sector across the whole country.
