How to Read Music! Learn how to read music. Find out what crotchet, minim and semibreve rests are. In the US these are called quarter, half and whole note rests. What do they look like? How do you draw them? How do you tell them apart? Compare the rests to notes so that you know when to play and when not to play (and for how many beats)!
