Bangladesh is not growing economically as it should be, due to which the power and electricity supply is not enough in Bangladesh, and the country is dependent on some other countries like India for the electricity.
However on the other hand, The e rickshaw owners in bangladesh are stealing power to charge their vehicles which is causing a loss of 80MW power and energy everyday to Bangladesh. Now Bangladesh is banning chinese e rickshaw in the country to protect the other industries.

Sri Lanka has also banned the rickshaws, however India has the potential of exporting them to other countries by making the rickshaws 100% in India through Make in India or atmanirbhar bharat initiative.
