Pork is one of the most well-liked delicacies and integral part in the life of the Nagas. Nagaland is a land of tribes. Each tribe prepares its own versions of traditional pork curries and stews, with each having further different recipes of their own. This description of pork curry is from Lotha Naga and is flavored by the use of bamboo shoots or bamboo shoot extracted juice with King Chili or normal chili powder.
Naga Cuisine uses very limited spices & mostly the dishes are boiled. This dish is prepared using very few ingredients.
Ingredients of Lotha Naga Dish Pork Curry: 👌😃✔
✔ Estimated cooking time - 1 hr. 10 min.
✔ Pork - 1 kg
✔ Red chili Powder - 2 tbsp.
✔ Ginger - 20 gm
✔ Garlic - 15 gm or 10 gloves
✔ Bamboo Shoot Extract Juice - 100 ml
✔ Ginger Leaves - fresh leaves
✔ Soya sauce for colouring
✔ Salt to taste
✔ Water as required
