WWE Games have released a new 1.22 patch update for WWE 2K23 that has added in new artwork for an upcoming Royal Rumble Card Pack MyFaction, though for the first time, the new artwork has been hidden, potentially hiding a surprise addition in next months update.

While it's unlikely we'll see a new Superstar added to MyFaction, one possible name could be that of Pat McAfee, as Pat's trons, entrance and moves were all included in the game at launch, with dataminers confirming him to be listed as DLC.

Other changes in the patch added new renders for Damien Priest within MyFaction, though the remainder of the updates are for stability and minor bugs.

One larger fix that was added in a previous update and went undetected was a change to Hacksaw Jim Duggan's Mr. Red, White & Blue entrance motion, which was added in WWE 2K20, as the developers have added in the missing 2x4 he appeared to be holding.

In other news this week seen the release of the latest Season 2 DLC for AEW Fight Forever, Beat The Elite.

The new DLC is a single player mode that challenges players to take on 9 random opponents in singles matches, before facing off against a member of The Elite in the final for the chance to unlock new cosmetic items.

This week also sees some updates from Virtual Basement on The Wrestling Code, as we got the announcement of independent star Airica Demia, as well as some new behind the scenes footage of Tajiria and Sonny Onoo performing mocap.
