There are dirty lakes… and then, there’s Bellandur Lake. Located on the outskirts of Bangalore, India’s tech capital, this huge lake full of sewage and toxic waste has been frothing foam for years – but this year, it’s gotten so bad that locals report it frothing over onto busy streets. On one occasion, the lake even caught fire. They’re now begging the authorities to do something about it.
