Franita Tolson, Professor of Law and Vice Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs at University of Southern California, is here to break it down with hosts Tara Setmayer and Rick Wilson. Professor Tolson was called on to provide testimony regarding voting rights in a Senate subcommittee hearing where she challenged Ted Cruz on his states issues with voting access. She discusses this experience as well as her book titled "In Congress We Trust?: Enforcing Voting Rights from the Founding to the Jim Crow Era,” which will be released in 2023.
