The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the burned body of a 20-year-old woman found at a west valley apartment complex last week.
Geranique Bentley was found dead March 11 inside an apartment complex in the 700 block of Rock Springs Drive.
A couple was getting ready to fly a drone when they discovered the body.
Detectives said it appeared her body had been set on fire at the apartment complex. An accelerant was poured on her to enable the fire.
The girl was found partially clothed. It’s possible some of her clothing may have burned off in the fire.
Bently’s cause of death will be released by the coroner.
Police have not identified a suspect.
