The folks from Erickhill sent me their ROOK 600SP infrared thermometer for review. I thought it might be interesting to compare it with my own IR-Thermometer, a Uni-T UT300S I had for years. It turns out that both are very similar. The ROOK has the edge in a wider measurement range, better accuracy and the use of inexpensive AAA batteries while the UT300s has, for me, the better user interface.
