김건희•질바이든 여사, 미 국립미술관 ‘마크 로스코’ 작품 관람

In the meantime, the South Korean and the U.S. First Ladies --Kim Keon Hee and Jill Biden --visited the National Gallery for a private tour of exhibits by abstract painter Mark Rothko.
They were joined by Mark Rothko's son Christopher and were taken to see a new exhibit that has yet to be opened to the public.
The First Ladies previously met back in May during Joe Biden's visit to Seoul where Jill Biden mentioned Rothko's exhibition in South Korea organized by former curator Kim saying it was the first such large-scale loan of paintings from the U.S National Gallery.
