When you are with them, you just assume it's always been Richard and MacKenzie, but you would be wrong. What should've been a high school love story was really a story about fate and patience. They may not have started their relationship in their teens, but secretly they were each dreaming of it long after graduation when they went their separate ways. They always kept tabs on each other which led them to finally going to dinner one night. The rest, they say, is history. I first met MacKenzie at her brother's wedding a few years ago, and then again at another wedding maybe six months later. I remember her dancing with Richard and seeing how happy and full of life they were. I pointed the camera to them at one point and MacKenzie joked: "We'll be next!" While they weren't exactly the next wedding, they certainly weren't far behind.It was such an honor and sweet surprise to hear from MacKenzie when Richard finally popped the question! They were married at the stunning Magnolia Manor in Vero Beach surrounded by their family and friends. And while they danced the night away I couldn't help but smile as I recalled the last time I saw them dancing... knowing they are just as in love now as they were then. Congratulations, MacKenzie + Richard!
