This training provides PHA staff and leadership the information and tools to ensure compliance with applicable laws, HUD regulations and PHA policies when procuring goods and services. The goal is to ensure the PHA allows for a fair and open competitive process for its business while also being good stewards of public funds. It will also provide a detailed review of the controlling and source documents governing the procurement process including the course training guide, HUD Handbook, Federal Regulations (2 CFR 200.317 – 200.326) and the impact of state and local procurement laws.
