Come escape into Lake Como luxury at Villa Passalacqua. An 18th Century Villa originally built by architect Carlo Felice Soave for Count Andrea Lucini-Passalacqua. Now a unique 24 room hotel filled with history and elegance.
In this video we tour the grounds, the spa, the main Villa and one of the accommodations in the Villa.
Starting in the Villa there are various seating areas for relaxing, a bar for hand crafted drinks and the dining room on the bottom level. Upstairs in the Villa are the guest rooms.
We stayed in Isoletta which was located in the Villa. Room came with robes and slippers and an impressive mini bar with drinks and snacks replenished daily. The bathroom came equipped with every Dyson device a girl could need. Not one thing was left out in the thoughtful design of the room.
The grounds can be explored for hours! With boccee ball, a pool, gym, gardens, and secret tunnels! Tunnels that are encouraged to be found and explored underneath the property connecting from the top to the water below.
The Spa: while we did not book any treatments we were able to reserve some time in the spa area to relax and enjoy the saunas. Hidden underground is this magnificent spa area. Wet and dry saunas, a shower and an ice machine to rub on your body. We laid on comfy sofas, sipping tea while listening to meditative music.
Experiences: we booked a day boat tour on the Giumello II for a 2 hour tour around Lake Como. We took in the sights, saw George Clooney's house and other gorgeous Villas.
Villa Passalacqua has it all and somehow balances luxury with making you feel like part of the family.
