Tofu skin is made of soybean. This is a popular food in China and Vietnam. You can buy it in Asean Super Market. It is used to make vegetarian food, dimsum or eat with hotpot. However because made of soybean, it contains paponin which makes human body excrete the iodine and high protein content so if eat it a lot in long time can make body lack of iodine, hard to metabolize iron and indigestion.
INGREDIENTS FOR 04 PEOPLE:
- 200gr minced pork meat
- 100gr dried tofu skin
- 10gr shiitake mushroom, 10gr wood ear mushroom
- 10gr garlic
- Salt, Pepper
- Mayonaise sauce
PREPARE:
- Soak tofu skin in cold water for 15 mins, then wash and cut into A5 size
- Soak mushrooms in hot water for 15 mins, then wash and chop
- Garlic: peel and chop
PROCESS:
Step 1. Mix all the ingredients salt and pepper. Can add minced shrimp and/or crab depend on your favor.
Step 2. Lay the tofu skin out on a flat surface, add the mixture and roll it up gently but tightly. After rolling, fry it with oil in low heat. After every 5-7 mins, turn to the other side to make sure the rolls are cooked steadily.
Eat with mayonnaise sauce. You can mix mayonnaise sauce with ketchup in 1:1 ratio depend on your favor.
