Zanchi moved to Bergamo at the age of 8 to live with her Italian father, where she later finished school. At 15, she backpacked throughout Europe and Morocco for three years; upon her return, she worked as a model for important fashion companies in Milan. In 1975 she received her first film offer for Pasquale Festa Campanile's If You Die, I Live! in which she appeared in a small role. The exploitation film L'uomo, la donna e la bestia - Spell (Dolce mattatoio), which followed in 1977 and focused on erotic scenes, drew similar offers; Zanchi became one of several actresses at the wedding of the sex and horror film. She starred alongside Laura Gemser and Gabriele Tinti, under Sergio Bergonzelli and Jaime Jesús Balcázar. Her most famous film is probably the mixture of eroticism and nun milieu, The Nun and the Beast. After a few years, in 1982, she limited her appearances to minor and small guest roles. In 1996, she appeared for the last time in a Swiss television production, Gegen Drogen.
In 1979, Zanchi released the single Plastic Doll as Angie Bee; a smaller career of disco titles followed.
After her public career, she took over an antique shop in Zurich with a friend.
