Police are now offering a cash reward for information leading to the men named on the country’s most wanted list. The department issued an official update this week, noting that 31-year-old Raheem Marsden, who was wanted for attempted murder, had been captured. Meanwhile, a thousand-dollar reward is offered for help finding the five others still at large. On the list is 26-year-old Ulide Allen, who is wanted for murder. Our records show Allen was previously charged for a shooting on Coney Drive, Belize City back in 2019. He has also faced charges of attempted murder, harm, gang affiliation, and contempt of a judicial order. Next on the list is 24-year-old Steve Ortiz, who is also wanted for murder. While Ortiz does not appear in prior news reports, he is wanted for the murder of 43-year-old Darren Taylor also known as "Dolla Coin." Taylor was shot six times on the night of Saturday, April 13. Twenty-seven-year-old Brady Tillet is also on the list wanted for aggravated assault. Tillett is suspected of supplying the firearm used to commit the shooting at the home of Police Commissioner Chester Williams late last month. This evening, Williams provided an update on the wanted list.
Thirty-year-old Malcolm Myers also made the list for attempted murder. We note that Myer’s history includes being shot in 2015 and being wanted by police on gang affiliation charges in the recent State of Emergency declaration. Finally, the most recent addition to the list is 31-year-old Akeem Richards. He is wanted for the murder of Clint Castillo and the attempted murder of Andrew Muns which occurred in Cotton Tree Village on Sunday.
