In this video, we'll show the basics of mapping synth parameters to gestures on Orba.
Orbasynth is a standalone desktop app for Mac & Windows available for free at [ Ссылка ].
Full transcription:
Orbasynth allows you to create custom gesture mappings for your synth patches. I've created this simple Orbasynth patch, but I want to make it more performative. So, I'll navigate to the yellow panel and select the gesture I'd like to make a mapping for. I'll select Tilt.
Each gesture can be mapped to up to three synth parameters. I've set all of my sliders to the center which means that they're not doing anything right now. From the dropdown menu, I'll select the synth parameter I want to map to. I'll pick Filter Cutoff.
Say when I tilt my Orba, I want my Filter Cutoff to be lowered. In this case, I'll move my slider to the left, representing negative values when Orba is tilted. In the other case, if I wanted my filter to open up when I tilt it, I would move my slider to the right, introducing positive values when it's tilted.
Now, if I tilt my Orba, it sounds like this. And that's it! Now go get creative, and thanks for watching!
