Hever Castle Tour: Anne Boleyn's Home.
The first castle on that site was built in 1270 which later on was transformed into a manor by Geoffrey Boleyn in 1462. Anne Boleyn spent her childhood after her father, Thomas Boleyn, inherited the Hever Castle in 1505. It remained in possesion of the Boleyn family from 1462 to 1539.

Anne, known for her beauty and intelligence, captivated many, including the king. As Sir Thomas Boleyn's daughter, she was adept in courtly manners and drew attention. During a Hever Castle jousting tournament, Henry VIII became smitten, igniting an affair that led to her becoming queen consort.
Hever Castle's grounds and elegant architecture provided a backdrop for Anne and Henry's love. In its tranquil gardens, they spent precious moments away from court. The castle's rooms witnessed their secret courtship, deepening their love.
