When the unimprovable Kef LS50 was massively improved by META technology, no not Fb, it was an open secret that this would find it's way into the rest of the range. It's not Kef's engineering way to just do this though. 14 improvements to the Uni Q drive unit and all new crossovers mean that the world beating Blade and Blade 2 have taken another stride towards perfection and the Reference range also jumps up in level. Kef's international design team have raised the bar again and low tech stick a driver in a box speaker manufacturers cannot compete. Magazines and reviewers can't tell you this though, their business is to avoid comparisons and imply that everything is pretty good.
