Abstract: In Spring 2020, the CEN published its new book bringing together recent work in educational neuroscience (www.amazon.co.uk/Educational-Neuroscience-Development-Frontiers-Developmental/dp/1138240354/). It updated the state of the field from our previous book published in 2013 (www.amazon.co.uk/Educational-Neuroscience-Denis-Mareschal/dp/1118725891/). In this talk, I'll describe our initial goals for the edited volume, the extent we were able to achieve these goals with the chapters of our contributing authors, and what overall themes emerged. I'll also identify areas we didn't get to cover and potential areas for growth in educational neuroscience.
