In this video I talk about the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins and I also give my opinion on buying them for silver stacking. The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf has been minted since 1988 and is a favorite for many silver stackers. The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Mintage is very high with over 29 million coins being minted in 2014.If you purchase a Canadian Silver Maple Leaf monster box it will be filed with 20 tubes containing 25 coins in each tube. Canadian Silver Maple Leaf 2020 coins contain the mint shield technology with was introduced in 2018. The Mint Shield Technology is supposed to help keep Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins from milk spotting. the 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coin was given security features in 2014 with the introduction of radial lines and a micro engraving. Silver Maple Leaf milk spots were so prevalent that people joked that they were a security feature on the older coins. I own 1 2020 silver maple leaf and I will keep my eyes peeled for more good deals on them throughout the year.
