Following HBO's Game of Thrones and History TV's Vikings, the first four seasons of Vikings were fantastic, but following Ragnar's death, the show went off the rails. Ivar The Boneless breathed new life into the remaining seasons, but he wasn't particularly good. Fans of grim period dramas have little choice but to watch Netflix's The Last Kingdom. The good news is that the show's fifth and final season lived up to expectations, presenting one of the best final seasons of any show ever. And I'm not just saying this as a fan of the show; I'm also a huge fan of dark fantasy dramas.
